Work real estate deals alongside other military and first responders.

You'll be on the phone, helping homeowners who want to sell find the way that works best for them. Only military and first responders can join. Always.

You've spent years putting other people first.

We know what our brothers and sisters have given. Some of us served in uniform. Some of us were first on scene when a stranger's worst day was happening. Either way, we put other people ahead of ourselves, and too often ahead of our own families. We worked the night shifts, missed the holidays, and a lot of us paid for it with our health.

That drive to show up for people is still in you. In real estate it matters, because homeowners facing one of the biggest decisions of their lives need someone who'll tell them the truth.

What the work is.

It's sales, on the phone. You talk with homeowners who are thinking about selling and help them work out the best way to do it. Depending on their situation, that might be:

  • A quick cash sale, when they need to move fast or can't take on repairs.
  • A way through foreclosure, so they can keep the house or sell it on better terms than foreclosure would leave them.
  • A creative deal that can pay their asking price, when buyers on the open market won't.
  • An introduction to a good real estate agent, when listing the house serves them best.

Every deal has to work for the homeowner and for us. If it doesn't, we don't do it.

The good it does.

Some of the homes we buy go to families who can afford the payments but can't get a mortgage. We finance the home for them ourselves, so a family the bank turned down gets a place of its own.

We also help people out of situations that weigh on them: a house they inherited and don't want, rentals they're tired of managing, a home that needs more work than they can take on, or orders to move by a date they can't change.

Served, and now living with a disability?

We especially want to hear from you.

A lot of jobs ask for things an injury or illness can take away. This work asks for a phone, a computer and a willingness to talk to people.

If you can make calls and handle basic computer work, there's a place for you here. You decide what you take on.

Why military and first responders join us.

  1. Try it first.

Go through our training before you decide whether to join.

  2. We train you.

You learn how to start the right conversations, then we coach you on live calls until you're confident.

  3. We equip you.

You get the leads, the phone system, daily sales training with the team, and a live AI coach that helps you through the sales process on your calls.

  4. You work real deals.

You call homeowners and find out who wants to sell. When one does, you hand them to a closer, right there on the call if one is free, or at a time you book.

  5. Paid on closing.

We pay generous commissions, well above industry standards.

Doing business with us?

These are the people who'll pick up when you call. We hold everyone on our team to the standard they kept in uniform: tell the truth, do the job right, and treat people the way you'd want your own family treated.

We post the real work as it happens.

Other ways to get involved.

If calling people isn't your cup of tea, there are other ways to get involved in real estate investing:

  • Finding deals and passing them to investors.
  • Lending money on deals, or raising it from people who want to invest.
  • Finding buyers for the deals investors lock up.
  • Coordinating closings, so the buyer, seller, title company and lender all stay on track.
  • Managing rentals, short-term rentals, shared housing or rehabs.

We train with a creative real estate investing community that teaches all of these. It's advanced training, with courses, live coaching calls and a big network of investors who team up on deals, and it isn't part of joining HERO REI. If you join them, you can keep working with us. The training isn't cheap. If you join through our link, we get a referral commission, and we'll split it with you 50/50. Veterans get a discount, too.
